Pati Palmer and Marta Alto invented Ultrasuede techniques. Pati gave the first Ultrasuede seminar in the U.S. at the Meier & Frank department store in 1971. Marta built a custom sewing business in the '70s on Ultrasuede and silk garments. Marta and Pati then co-authored the book Sewing Ultrasuede Fabrics. |
